Job Description:

We are seeking a CFAA Fire Alarm Technician.

Responsibilities:

  •  Testing, inspecting, verifying and servicing fire alarm systems and devices.
  •  Inspect installation sites and study work orders, building plans and installation manuals to determine materials requirements and installation procedures.
  •  Demonstrate systems for customers and explain details, such as the causes and consequences of false alarms.
  • Test and repair circuits and sensors, following wiring and system specifications.
  •  Follow local and national security standards.

Minimum Requirements:

  • CFAA License
  • Prior experience with monitoring systems, emergency lighting systems and security systems preferred.
  • Siemens and/or Mircom ESD experience preferred.
  • Positive attitude & strong work ethic.
  •  Customer oriented mentality.

Physical Requirements:

  • Able to work in unusual and sometimes difficult positions such as climbing ladders, scaffolding and high lift equipment up to 40 feet, working within ducts, crawl spaces, above ceilings, etc.
  • Ability to work flexible hours including weekends to meet customer requirements.
  • Overnight travel may be required.
